I read a bunch of this series a while ago. This was cute but a little repetitive. I mean how many miscommunications and obstacles do these two need to get through in order to be together?

I don't think I know what a hood is in this context and I don't even want to know.
  • About me: was incredibly cringed out by many of the scenes but decided to keep on reading for shits and giggles and also out of spite.
  • Obsessed.
  • However. Why. Why was this guy (MMC) so mean to her (FMC)?? (I'm joking I know why I just don't like it.)
  • The "new queen" plotline was, in my opinion, unnecessary and cheap. I came for women power and all I'm seeing is looming oppression (but different). No thanks.
  • As for the relationship aspect: I feel like I need to sit with this for a while before I can really decide how romantic I would rate this.
