The main event. After 14 card sets, 18 books (novels and anthologies, several comic books, and so much flavor text over (counting from 'Antiquities') eight years, it's time for the infamous Gerrard Capashen to face Yawgmoth as Urza intended.

I enjoyed this a lot when it first came out and though I lost many favorites along the way (Mirri! Ertai!), I never had the animus against Gerrard that many other MtG fans seemed to have. The stories were well done and certain characters are seen again in the future, so there's that. However, I don't think Wizards of the Coast or their Hasbro overlords will ever allow a storyline this ambitious to ever happen again.

Thanks for the memories, these books were a huge part of my adolescence and my first dip into obsessive fandom. The next book, 'Odyssey', takes place on the heretofore unknown continent of Otaria a hundred years after the Invasion.
