An exciting second chance romance well worth reading.
The main characters were a couple when they were younger. She was the snobby rich guy’s stepdaughter and he was the housekeeper’s son. When they were found out, her mum and stepfather forced her to end the relationship. So she told the H awful lies to end the relationship and stop him from pursuing her.
Her lies worked too well. Eight years later, they meet again and the H is still angry and hurt by the way she ended it with him. It made him a cold, hard hearted person and now he’s out for revenge.
Glad I read this one. It was really enjoyable.
