I immediately started this after finishing the brown sisters trilogy aaaaaand was rather disappointed. One thing I will say is that Talia Hibbert is really good at creating characters and making them realistic and making them have their own distinct voices. But I really didn’t care for the male MC and therefore I didn’t like the romance between him and cherry. I did like the first couple of chapters. But after the paparazzi incident it kinda went down hill for me.

The narrator does the most majestic accent for the prince and his people. I’ve never heard anything like it and it is so incredibly soothing while being simultaneously sexy.
The dirty talk in this book is copious, and impressively filthy. A bit over the top for my tastes, but anyone who like bedroom talk would adore this. There is also more sex than substance, but not to the detriment of the plot.
My greatest wish is that the author had thought to include a trigger warning for the book. Please check trigger warnings, most prominently child abuse and domestic abuse, and PTSD from child abuse.
