So I can't really relate to being a professional movie star OR a working at a gym and being the everyday workout gal, but I did like this relationship between two very different people. They were very spicy when together, which was their primary activity for a lot of the book. The FMC has intimacy and commitment issues and waffled for a while until our British MMC couldn't take it any longer (neither could I). I did like Muffin Top and the BFF, and the description of the town. A short, joyful romp if you like either movie star romances, small town romances, or gyms. You gotta like one of those.

This was cute, but kind of forgettable. If you’re looking for a super fluffy read, this is a great one. Very little angst and the characters like each other pretty much from the start. I do feel like some of the dialogue was super corny.
Loves this small town romance written by Kayley Loring. Low Angst and a great HEA!
Audio Book Feedback: I NEED to listen to the audio book. I can see so much potential. Will update my review when I do.
Another fun, low key story from Kayley Loring. Just the right amount of heat and humor. I did find myself in love in Evan, and a bit frustrated with Stella.
There are some really great romantic scenes, and real chemistry on page for Evan and Stella. I did have a moment where my heart stopped, where I felt that there was a scene missing. I flipped back and forth several times, my heart pounding with betrayal, when I couldn't find 'the scene'. However, after I decided to push past it, I understood why. One of the sexiest dirty talking scenes, where I NEED to listen to the Audio book. ‘Better represent England' indeed!
Stella's contribution to the drama of the story was pretty frustrating, to the point where I stopped enjoying her character by the end. I couldn't believe she could not see past her hang ups.
My Take on the Main Characters: Talk about a wonderful MMC. Evan is about as perfect as you can get. He was all in on the FMC from the beginning and he just kept falling in love for her harder and harder.
Stella's stubbornness really got to me multiple times in this book. Her desire to 'stay home' really hit a nerve with me; She stuck to it so hard, even though she clearly wants to try for something more with the H.
What I liked:English Accents. Athletic/Pretty Boy Build MMC. Everything about Evan.

The first 'sex scene' is skipped. They go from kissing in the livingroom, to in bed afterwards. Changing from h POV to H POV, without describing their first time.Stella's contribution to the drama of the story was pretty frustrating, to the point where I stopped enjoying her character by the end. Well, this book was a treat.
Don't a lot of us want to think that somewhere, there's someone who sees us and just knows we are who they've been searching for, even before they knew they were searching?
I love Head Hugh in this book, what an absolute riot. I loved Evan and how sure he was about Stella. I loved Stella's family and how intrusive they weren't, and how supportive and loving they were. I loved how the family argument at Thanksgiving was like a sparkler at 4th of July - burned bright for just a moment and then it was over, and everything was resolved. I loved the few days Evan and Stella got at the Hotel in Nice, and although I did not love how that chapter ended, I did love the note she left and how it simply spurred him on to figure out how to Make It Work.
This was a sweet story - which isn't a trope but it should be. Not too sweet, not too much angst, a perfect balance without a lot of 3rd act drama, and a swoon-worthy HEA.
Sweet Scale: 5/5
Spicy Scale: 3/5

Kaylee Loring always gets my vote for Best RomCom author. Each book leaves me wanting to live in that particular world of hilarious banter, fun and often crazy family dynamics, sweet but also hot AF sexy times, and wrapped up with just the right amount of angst. Loring’s books are a balm to my cranky dysfunctional life. And the audiobooks are amazing!
I absolutely loved this hilarious, sweet and steamy romance! Loring has once again written a story that guarantees that I will fall in love with her characters and her signature laugh-out-loud comedic style she has sprinkled throughout this book! This is an absolutely delightful story about a small town girl and her unlikely romance with a sexy British movie star. When Evan Hunter comes to Stella Starky's charming little town to shoot some movie scenes, she couldn't care less. He joins her gym and her conditions are that he is himself, not his public persona. That is her undoing, he not only charms her family but he also charms her and she can't help but fall for the sweet, dirty talking Brit. Evan likes that Stella is real and honest with him, and prefers who he really is. They soon give in to their fiery attraction, agreeing to have a short term, no strings affair. They are opposites in every way but their chemistry is explosive! But rules are meant to be broken when their hearts get involved. When Evan needs to travel for work, will he be able to convince Stella to leave her beloved small town and travel the world with him? There is so much to love about this story, from the quick wit and banter, to the lovable quirky characters, to the sizzling passion, and every hilarious, heartwarming moment in between. Oh and how great is the name Stella Starky?! It flowed so well off Evan's lips, along with 'Hello Darling', I absolutely loved it!
Shane East, and Mackenzie Cartwright were so perfectly cast to narrate this hilarious and heartwarming romance. They nailed the chemistry between Evan and Stella, and their ability to deliver Loring's witty dialogue along with imparting the genuine emotion of all characters was exquisite. Both narrators have a wonderful range of voices and expressions that I love to get lost in and make this story pure pleasure!

Hello Darling

In the mood for a good love story? How about a book about a famous British actor? If you love swoony, romantic leads, you are going to love Evan Hunter. A famous public figure, he is enamored with Stella. She is a hard working woman with a cat she adores, and after a few encounters is taken in by the charms of Evan. Keeping things light is the name of the game, quiet, out of the public eye and casual, this couple is enjoying each other. But can they continue on that way? Will they be seen by the paparazzi? Will feelings get in the way? And a bicoastal relationship is impossible, right? Kayley Loring keeps me so engaged when I am listening to her stories. Her characters become good friends of mine, and Evan and Stella were the best! Great banter, incredible chemistry and a little bit of angst make this couple one of my favorites. Evan is wonderful. Romantic, good reputation, monogamous and very up front, he is the man we all drool over on screen. Stella is all of us. Loves being with him, but will find every excuse not to invest that last bit of her heart. Loring melds these two together, with laughter, passion and love. It's a fantastic story, one you do not want to miss.
Loring chose her narrators so perfectly, it was like she wrote the characters with these voices in mind. Shane East is Evan Hunter. His voice is smooth, and romantic, an incredible fit for his personality and had me falling in the first chapter. Stella needed a little coaxing, and her hesitation, and affection comes through with Mackenzie Cartwright's voice. These two give an incredible performance and kept me completely entertained.
