I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, possibly because of my own headspace when I read the first. I truly felt how YA this one was. That being said, I adore Thomas Cresswell. I usually prefer the slight (or heavily) toxic fictional men, so I was surprised to enjoy Thomas so much. It was interesting. Excited to move on to the next one in the series.

in my opinion, hunting prince dracula is so much better than stalking jack the ripper. i had a very enjoyable experience reading it.
the protagonist, audrey rose, is an incredible character. i rooted for her throughout the entire story and was so happy every time she succeeded. i can relate to a lot of her internal struggles regarding her place in society as a woman and how she wants to have a future with thomas without feeling like she has to give up her independence and ability to make decisions for herself. in that way, among many others, her character development was so good!
the romance was very cute!! i’ve never seen two characters with more chemistry than audrey rose and thomas. their little interactions and moments are so sweet and you just want them to confess their love for each other.
from the beginning, i predicted who the murderer was, but after a turn of events (iykyk), it took a whole different direction that completely shocked me!!
overall, i really, really enjoyed hunting prince dracula and will definitely continue the series in the future!! ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
