I loved the depiction of finding salvation within someone else, but Brance was a red flag for me most of the time.

Good Read

A lot of character development. Sad about skipped spicy scenes that are just referenced after the fact. Overall a good read, but had some sadness.

This is a grumpy sunshine trope with a sweet little boy trying to help the two main characters. Brance doesn’t trust women because of his son’s mother as well as his own mother. Braelyn has trauma from an accident that happened and still suffers the effects from it. Neither of them really want to be around each other, but Ollie always wants to be at Braelyn’s store which means Brance has to be there too when the nanny is not. I love these two characters and I really hope that they’re two best friends get books as well because they were so cute and so amazing trying to get Brance and Braelyn people together believe me.

Cute entertaining read

Really cute read at first ...but didnt finish due to the predictability of it all ...might just be that I read too much of this stuff too. I was bored at 60%. FL and ML thoughts/dialogue were repetitive as was Son's behavior...just not my cuppa.

Oh this was some angst-city, but in a good way. Braelyn has suffered some terrible loss, but is still trying to survive and live life. Brance has some freaking baggage, but lives for his young son, Ollie.

Ollie meets Braelyn and they instantly become friends. Of course Brance hates this, and so our enemies-to-lovers ensues.

What follows is an emotional yet tender story. Braelyn learns to love and live again and Brance learns how to trust and show some vulnerability.

Sweet, funny, and thought provoking, Ask Me Why is a broken and emotional read.

I love a single dad romance so I knew I had to give this one a read. The blurb pretty sold me on this one. I loved Braelyn and Brance's little one Oliver. I loved the bond that forms between them. Warms my heart especially learning Braelyn's past. Oliver is just a delight and my favorite scenes of the book include him. Now Brance, he's a character you have to warm up to. Not a huge fan of his in the beginning. I wanted to shake some sense into several times through this book. Though I will say I understand why he is they way he is. He's had a tough time in the past with women. It's all the more beautiful how Braelyn brings sunshine to his life.
