I expected a childish book about chemistry and alchemy, but it was surprisingly good and really well written. The story was full of action and it turned out to be a crime story actually. Strongly recomnended.

Děj příjemně plyne, a rozhodně nenudí.

Great story, different and unique. Liked it a lot but I don't know if I want to read the sequel. Nevertheless, I liked this book a lot and I have to say that Kevin Sands imagination it's pretty good, all those symbols and everything that was amazing.

I read this as part of a middle school teachers’ book club. I thought it was a creative, fast-paced read!
