This book should be required reading for anyone into beer, wine, and spirits.
I was left with equal amounts of awe and rage over the history of woman and alcohol.
The feeling of community that this book inspires between the reader and the generations of women who came before and are emerging is a triumph.
My main complaint is how some chapters jumped around in concept / culture more than the title would lead one to believe. I think some restructuring would have made this book 5 stars.
