DNF after 75 pages. I found these characters insufferable to try and read. I can understand the intrigue of this book but no one speaks to people the way these characters speak to each other. They are all fiercely unlikeable.
I was expecting a book that explored sexuality and queerness and I guess it is that? But in a really disappointing way.

What did I just read? I really wasn’t expecting for Nathan to be the actual main character.

An interesting dynamic and solid conclusion but difficult to get through. I disliked every single character and for me that made the read more difficult. Intriguing, but awful people

i almost feel bad rating this so low since i knew i’d hate it before starting it so it’s actually my own fault but i can’t in conscience give it a higher score.

ARC REVIEW:
This book is going to be a new favorite in the booktok community. If you love complicated female characters, sex, and queerness you are gonna love this book. Many reviews have compared this book to Sally Rooney and Ottessa Moshfegh and I have to admit that is a pretty accurate description.
The book follows Eve, a queer woman who is overwhelmed by her rampant sexual urges and her extreme vanity. She finds herself posting her nudes to the internet one night which sends her into Olivia and Nathan’s orbit. The three begin a sexual relationship and attempt to navigate through their confusions about relationships and sex.
This book is definitely you hate it or you love it. The characters are deeply problematic and difficult to sympathize with, however that makes the book more interesting.

2.5-3⭐️??? I’m really confused by this book. Found it incredibly complicated and felt very uncomfortable for most of it for a reason I can’t quite put my finger on — which I honestly love in a book so I’m landing on 3 stars, but this genuinely made my stomach hurt. So meandering yet so urgent at the same time and left me constantly feeling like I was missing something. Was I? Why was this insufferable man so idolized???? What was the point??? Idk. Did have its profound moments but overall not worth the trouble imo.
