I read it on Royal Road. Was very good. Should give it a try.
Closer to a 2.5 or 2.75!
The book was pretty average and generally enjoyable, with the only caveats being that I'm not super invested in our MC as a person yet AND that the system used in this book is a bit confusing. With some skills purchasable and others not, it's of course a hard line to draw at what is impossible to learn and what isn't... And this line is exactly where I get a bit frustrated. Some things didn't exactly make sense to me, but perhaps later installments will aid that.

I'm lovin' it. Sure it's a power fantasy, but a good one.

3.95 Wasn't horrible, actually enjoyed it. Isn't groundbreaking or anything, monkeybrain enjoyment for sure.
Fantastic. Best LitRPG so far but I’m a sucker for all things wuxia and this is the closest I’ve felt to that genre so far. Interesting world mechanic with the shop and MC progresses fairly fast
I read the first two, they are decent, the series that had a link to this and has the same theme, towers of heaven, was better though.
