A fun adventure superheroics story with added goodness of affectionately portrayed sibling relationship between X-23 Laura and her lil clone sis, her honey badger ferocious partner in fighting the good fight, as they follow in their progenitor's (Wolverine) footsteps.

The only thing really lacking is that it could really have done with more Wolverine, not the X-men team member but their actual pet wolverine who is all manner of cute.

The cuckoo clone sisters are also an excellent character choice, as the story progresses they display an interesting mix of motivations and ethics:

How could anybody NOT love Laura and Gabby? Seriously, I’d sick Johnathan on anybody who didn’t think that they were near perfection.

Laura Kinney as a character has single-handedly dragged me back into comics before now and I'm sure she'll do it again. I really love how Tamaki is synthesizing her past characterizations so far - there have been a lot of them and they've largely conflicted with each other (don't get me started) but Laura's characterization makes sense here and it's so nice to see. Plus I love Gabby. PLUS this is just super fun (I love a comic that leans in on the nonsense sound effects). Thumbs up from me, etc.
