This was a really good first issue. The Blue Marvel is a forgotten hero, asked to cease and desist at the height of the civil rights movement, to appease a world that isn't ready for a black superhero.
Granted, I've been away from comics for a long time, but I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about this. If the other 4 issues are as good as this one, this is a true gem.
