Damn! This book got HOT on the first page! The VERY FIRST PAGE!! I've read hundreds of books in this genre and I've never read a book that got right down to the business on the first page!

Even though this was a taboo romance, I loved both characters and how they faced so many trials and came out stronger in the end.

Not the best step-brother/taboo romance I’ve read.

Felt a little flat to me and the storyline kind of jumped around a lot.

DNF @ 20%

This was fast burn- by 20% they had already hooked up. I wasn’t a fan of the FMC or MMC.

Couldn’t put it down

Love that this story starts right away and never stops, I could just keep reading about these two, I loved them both and their besties that much!

I don’t know what I was expecting when I went into this but struggling to like the heroine was not it. And I’m not exactly sure what about her I didn’t like, at first I’d say it was the lack of backbone but, trauma has a weird way of making you believe you don’t have one. Secondly it was not fighting for what she knew she needed to be fighting for but, again, trauma and wanting your family to love you is hard.

All in all, this book was good and really, really freaking steamy (from the get). Just took me a little to warm up to the heroine I guess.

"I don't hide my choices and I'm sure as shit not going to
hide you anymore if I don't have to"

I picked this book up on a whim after seeing a TikTok and
throwing it on my TBR a while back. I needed a quick read in
between series and thought why not let's give this a shot.
went in completely blind and I was pleasantly surprised!
It's jumps immediately into the steam and hooks you in. You
need to know who these people are and why this is
happening how it's happening.

Sasha and Liam are amazing. While Shasha makes some
questionable choices and doesn't handle things in the best
way, Liam in there for her 100%

Very very protective and lots of angst.

I loved this story!!!! The characters pulled me in from the very beginning. The story is so well written and full of emotion. Liam and Sasha are just meant to be. It starts off explicit and hot with some sex right away as Sasha starts to seduce her stepbrother Liam but it quickly becomes so much more. Liam and Sasha have a great connection and always have. They have put a hold on their feelings and ever letting them be known because of the step relationship and Sasha's past, which is why nothing had ever happened until Sasha initiated it. But once they start down this relationship it is just awesome! They are truly meant to be but they have a lot of obstacles to overcome to be able to be together. I was drawn in from the very beginning and never wanted to put the story down. I wanted more and more of Sasha and Liam. This story has more than enough to hold your attention and just keep you drawn in and connected to it the entire time. I absolutely loved it!!!!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely hated Sasha and all the drama she created.

Liam might have been a fine character, but I really didn’t like how he let all those other girls flirt with him. On the other hand, he was just doing what Sasha told him to.

I didn’t like Sasha at all because she was the reason there was so much conflict and drama. She got annoyed at Liam as he wasn’t subtle enough about their relationship (as she didn’t want anyone to know), and yet when he talked to other girls (which kept their relationship more hidden), she got jealous and angry that he didn’t leave the girl and come to her. Anything he did was wrong in her eyes as she kept changing her mind about things and I thought that Liam deserved better than her.

I didn’t understand why she wanted to keep their relationship a secret. She said that it was wrong because they were step-siblings but she knew that from the beginning so what did she expect? Another reason she gave was that she didn’t want to upset her sister and mother, which was ridiculous. Her mother couldn’t stand Sasha and her sister only cared about herself, so I didn’t understand Sasha’s behaviour.

I really didn’t like this book as the characters were awful.
