This was good but the heroine really got on my nerves sometimes. She wanted to keep their relationship a secret and it was clearly hurting the hero in many ways but she had to have her way or she got mad. Other than that pretty good read.

When I started this book I thought “oh I’ll read for 30 mins before I go to bed.” Nope. This book has other plans for me. Did I stay up till 2 am reading it? Sure did. And I don’t regret it at all.

The spice kicked off in page one and the angst and my Curiosity of how it was all going to play out kept me from putting it down.

This was a first from this author but Ill definitely be coming back for more.

DNF - 28%
I wanted to like this one, but it was honestly going in circles and it was only at 28%. I can’t imagine continuing for the final 72%.

Lots of heat

Sasha cries. A lot. In between the many many scenes of Sasha crying there’s some really good scenes between her and Liam. While this is a step brother book, they met at 17 & 21 and because they didn’t exactly grow up together, the “wrongness” of it all wasn’t convincing. Sasha has a couple of really traumatic events that she needs to deal with emotionally, and Liam is a really strong partner for her to heal with. The book starts with a bang and keeps going from there. Instant gratification done well.
