An adorable graphic novel about friendship, worrying, and adventure. It reminded me of an old favorite [b:Toot & Puddle|1032414|Toot & Puddle (Toot and Puddle)|Holly Hobbie|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1223632427s/1032414.jpg|1018693] -- one friend wants to stay home, the other wants to see the world.

The only thing missing for me was jokes about how slow sloths are. I kept waiting for there to be some twist about how it was taking ages for Peter and Ernesto to get anywhere, but, alas, it didn't seem to factor in. Still, I think a good number of kids will already know that sloths are super slow and find it funny on the face of it that a sloth wants to travel around the world.

Overall very cute and compelling. I loved the ending. All around an easy sell to even the most reluctant readers.

Peter and Ernesto

This is a cute graphic novel about two sloth friends--one wants to stay home and one wants to see the world. Will they stay apart or become closer? I borrowed this book from the public library.

Eh. I really wasn't into the artwork (I'm not really sure what the sloths looked like, but to me, it wasn't sloths), and the story was pretty weak.

Very cute & very sweet. Ernesto & Peter are sloths, best friends, and very different but they both end up going on adventures. They make friends, learn new things, and achieve their goals. It's adorable & great & every kid (adult, teenager, 20 something) should read it.

***I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review***

3.7 stars. I thought the sloths should be slower in motion and the supporting characters didn't have much personality.

I'm a huge Graham Annabelle fan, so of course I had to buy this book. It's a pretty simple story, but it's for children so that's alright. And of course the artwork is great, that's no surprise. Looks like the start of a solid series of kids stories.

I love the art! I love how Peter goes out of his comfort zone to find his best friend and how in the end Ernesto goes back to his best friend!
