lighthearted

Found this to be like reading a bunch of Instagram captions. Didn't find it changed my thinking, but did prompt me to reflect on some things.

There are some good nuggets here, but the majority of the "essays" are lists, and many of the points are repeated frequently through the course of the collection.

DID NOT FINISH

Will come back to later.

This book is not at all what i thought it would be. There’s no actually essays, the author just had chat GPT summarize essays other people wrote and added SOME commentary

A series of listicles masked as essays that have such a narrow take on the world that the insights it offers vacillate between being cringy, condescending, offensive or just plain boring. I think if they were in the right mindset of reception it would be a big hit for some people. Also the audiobook reader is really soothing. I almost held out for that alone.
