A really hard hitting series that dealt with pretty heavy themes, but excellent. The art is absolutely stunning and I just want the best for these sweet characters.

I understand she’s lonely, and I am not in her place and I cannot relate, but it’s frustrating to see her seek out miss girl when she’s having it rough with her fiancé. And I’m not trying to say Midori doesn’t deserve Maki because she’s confused and lost but I also totally think that (not like it matters since she still harbours feelings for this woman after a whole decade ).

But yk I’m stayin’ cause I know Midori needs her baby girl (like NEEDS her), plus Maki is so down bad for her and I can’t wait for Midori’s fiancé’s downfall in the next book (crossing my fingers).

Poor Maki-chan! Classic queer struggle amplified by the homophobia of Japanese culture and traditional gender roles.
