The Intimacy Experiment is the sequel to The Roommate, and I loved both of these books (I may have even loved The Intimacy Experiment a little more). I was a little bit hesitant about the religious setting going in, but it was totally fine - the story was relatable, and I didn't find it to be overwhelming. It was so cute, and I was invested the whole time. I was a little irritated in the third act, but it came back around. This book might have made me cry a little. Anyway, I love Naomi and Ethan, and I would gladly read more books with these characters (and I really like the Shameless concept).
CW - misogyny, slutshaming, mention of cancer / death of a parent

a light dnf~
this is disappointing bc I actually really loved the roommate and was really excited to see more of Naomi. but the chemistry is just not there for me and i feel like im skimming through. I think I need a genre cleanse, so maybe I’ll come back when im more in the mood
