Eh. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I was interested in the concept. I needed more build up and tension, the book dove in really quickly and by 50% through I was getting bored of all the sex scenes. I needed more plot and time to build up more tension.

I don’t think the MMC was believable as a priest. His thoughts from the very beginning were already pretty dirt, I expected him to be more pious and conflicted before first making contact with the FMC. The FMC needed more of a backstory, I really didn’t connect with her or care that much about her.

I feel like there was room for a lot more in this book but it just kind of fell a bit flat for me.

The spice level is amazing 🌶️ but I just can’t get along with the religion side of it. I understand that some believe in it but personally why should someone not be allowed pleasure because a ‘god’ who may or may not be real said so.
