short and sweet, still dramatic af, kinda reminded me of Death Note, Nicholas Cox = Light Yagami and that’s all there is to say on that
also, having read the accompanying novel Fence: Striking Distance which focuses on the relationship between Harvard and Aiden, i can definitely see the yearning undertones that i didn’t catch on my first (two?) times reading.

Fence, Vol.2 combines the fifth to eighth issues of the comics with the same name. In this second volume, tryouts for the fencing team are well underway at King's Row, and Nicholas is determined to prove himself in the competitive sport.
Like I said in my review of Fence, Vol. 1, even before these comics were published, I was already familiar with the works of C. S. Pacat and Johanna the Mad. Pacat for her debut trilogy, the Captive Prince series, and Johanna because of her work as a fan art artist. From the start, I knew that I would love these comics. I absolutely love Pacat's writing and Johanna's art.
If in the first 4 issues we're introduced to the main characters and the main plot points, in these 4 issues we see a continuation and development of it. I'm really loving how this graphic novel is developing. And I'm starting to see budding love relationships between other characters that I just know are gonna be amazing side plots. I can't wait to continue this story.
Just like the first volume, this one also has one content warnings that I think possible readers have to be aware of. There are subtle references to child abandonment. It's something very subtle but it is there.
Overall I loved this continuation. Strongly recommend.
