I usually don't care for road trip books but this one just hit right.

Well, this book is added to my fave book list now! It's amazing!!! There were lines that you'll never forget and I loved it for that matter. Strangers, different people who had each kind of problem, random adventure = my kind of book, absolutely haha. I liked how everything that I had expected from their journey did not happen which only goes to show that I'm bad at predicting things jk. The three characters (Oscar included or maybe 4 for Princess the dog haha) were all amazing in their own way, did not expect that I'll be fond of Oscar too despite him just showing in short moments once they have arrived in SF. Loved the way how the characters were not forced and hastily make them close to one another and that their bond just gets stronger little by little which makes it more heartwarming. The tattoo and the scene in the ocean = best parts, well actually all the things in the book were the best for me haha. I also liked how the two get to vents it out to their Mom their situation (especially Hallie's Mom) after all the traveling that happened. Lessons were learned along the way and I am so proud of them! The ending, well, I had expected that they get to meet on the said date however while reading how it ends, I realized it was the best decision not to let them meet again on SF plus the way how the author incorporates their thinking made me really think that of course that, that ending moment is only right because that is how they are from the very start and that is their character and I loved them even more for that.

this book was so much fun. i had a blast reading it and i recommend. i really connected to the characters and i loved reading their journeys. there was too much use of "fate" in the sense that it brought them together but other than that i enjoyed the book.

“Each road is the right one. Different outcome. Both have challenges to overcome. Everything in life is an opportunity to learn. Learning is not just in school. Trust your intuition. ” ❤️

I started reading Where The Road Leads Us at the perfect time. Escaping on a road trip with Jack and Hallie was just what I needed right now. I’m so glad I discovered this gem of a novel. WTRLU comes out next week, so please take a screenshot/save this review as a reminder to buy this book then. YOU NEED IT IN YOUR LIFE.

This book was HEART-WARMING. :))

The name and cover itself gave me happy vibes. I don't know what to say, but this book was more than what I'd expected. It was relatable and I just LOVED it.

“Sometimes the best path is the unexpected one.”

Jack is the wholesome boy next door, perfect grades, perfect girlfriend, perfect life and future ahead of him. Well from the outside looking in you see perfection but what you get in reality is a boy who doesn’t want to start his internship or follow in his late fathers footsteps he’s needs to find his way and hopefully find his brother.

Then we have Hallie, the girl that disappeared and finished school from home graduating ahead of her peers. Her friend had just told her some heartbreaking news and she wants to go and visit him in Oregon before it’s too late.

In a weird twist of fate the pair end up on a ride share together both heading to the bus stop and this is where their random adventure begins. The two get to know each other and after bus delays somehow end up in a car with the rise share guy on the way to San Francisco.

After 24 hours together they both feel happier than they have both been in a long time. They seal the deal with matching tattoos and decide that in 6 months from now they will meet at this same spot and reconnect.

This book makes you want to reassess your life and do what makes you genuinely happy. Think all the bright places cross November 9th. It was beautiful and tender yet raw and heartbreaking. The cover for this book roped me in but the story was absolutely sublime.

Where the Road Leads Us by Robin Reul is a book about two characters trying to find themselves and what they really want out of life.

Jack is dealing with a father who had passed away a brother who is a recovering addict and a mother who is absent always traveling for her job. Hallie is trying to meet somebody who is dying from cancer and is trying to get to him before he decides to end his life.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters and their personalities. I could feel their personal struggles, and my heart ached for them. Even though, this book dealt with some hard topics, it had lots of comedy to make me laugh out loud. I gave this book an A+.
