To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when it is revealed that what was happening was all supernatural, I prefer a more realistic ending. The drunk single female / unreliable narrator is getting a bit tired and would have enjoyed a more well rounded character for a protagonist.

Slow going for the first 3/4 of the book. Predictable, and irritatingly redundant. But I love Sager’s other works, and I think having read other books of his I had certain expectations of this.

the amount of alcohol consumed by the MC alone makes me concerned and very uncomfortable. I got through it but at what cost. I disassociated about the last 25% of the audiobook once the Big Twist was revealed because I was not really expecting that angle at all.
