This was a beast of an audiobook, 26 hours, but it was an amazing listen. Chemistry, physics, atomic bombs, New Mexico, politics, government and their conspiracies, FBI, parties, and debauchery are just a few of the themes in this book.

I think this is the greatest book I have ever read.

It is a staggering work of non-fiction. It might be the most meticulously researched work of history I have come across. The scope is ridiculous: you can really tell this took 25 years to write.

It is also one of the most completely engrossing and compelling books I've ever read. It reads like a fast-paced, riveting thriller in places.

This is a masterpiece.
