I took a break after the Burning Maze, but wanted to finish the Trials of Apollo. I'm so glad I did! I really liked this one and was able to read it just as quick as any other Uncle Rick book. I really like that each book Apollo and Meg meet up with people from the other books and it was great to see a ton of characters again. I love Frank and Hazel and they are so awesome in this book. Without trying to give much away, I love how he told the story with them in this book. There were a few times I was crying right along side Lester. Definitely some sad moments. Reyna, Ella and Tyson, Julia, Dakota, Don, seeing the Romans again made me realize how much I enjoyed them in HoO and made me very happy to see them again. I love this book for sure, and I'm sure I'll be reading it again!

I love Apollo and I love this series. It's so funny but also a rollercoaster of emotions. Apollo is such an asshole, but seeing how being a mortal now is making him grows makes it all so worth it.

I'm not ready to finish this series.

So far out of the entire series this is my least favorite. I still really enjoyed this installment, I just thought it was the slowest of the books thus far. While the ending was very exciting, the first half of the book was a lot of build up for the end and the next book. A lot of things have happened to get us to this point, and it was times for things to really start coming together.
It was a lot of fun seeing a lot of familiar faces from the previous books and series. I really enjoyed getting to see what has changed and transpired since we last saw everyone.
I’m excited to see what the 5th and final book has in store!
