Not too sure how I feel about it tbh … if you’ve taken like highschool science you’ve probably heard about the discoveries & debates & the historical context, so then what remains is the author’s fictitious elements and style—and although I liked the writing style, I was frequently just like…ok?  I felt kind of aimless, I guess.  And that’s fine in general but i feel like the author was trying to make like an incisive point about the quote dark side of discovery .. or something
