I enjoyed this book fully. The mystery was thrilling but also expected. There were so many characters but they were so easy to remember. The ending wasn’t my favorite part not only because it was the end of the book. The because it mentioned the scone book in the Nancy Drew series. I truly hop to have some of the same characters in the next book and books to come but also hoping to meet knew ones.

Hickory-Dickory-Dock the will is in the clock!
My partner and I finished this fun Nancy Drew puzzle with a lot of the iconic covers.  We decided to read whatever book was the last piece.  There wasn't an audiobook of that particular title when we were on our road trip so we started with #1.  We had a blast listening to this because Nancy Drew is such a Mary Sue type of character and so we were making jokes along the way, which added a star for me because of the experience...but it was also a solid kids mystery that showed Nancy as very capable for a 1930's girls adventure story.   She has her own car and can change a flat tire!  Go, Nancy!

Additionally, this type of genre just isn't found anymore.  It helps me piece together the drama/mystery elements of venture bros. and appreciate that aspect more too.

In my quest to revisit books I should've read as a kid, I decided Nancy Drew was up next.

description

Not the best decision on my part. Maybe I would've enjoyed this a few years ago, but the story was awful. I suppose eight-year old me would've been impressed at Nancy's deductive reasoning skills, but adult me was bored.
