This is the kinda book that makes you want to ball your eyes out crying after you finish reading it. I didn’t particularly love this book but it was very different from what I would normally read.
At first I found myself connecting. To Marion a lot, but as the story moved forward, I kinda started to hate her indecisiveness.
Kurt was a way better character than Marion to me and I really enjoyed reading about his life and I truly felt for him.
I didn’t like Marion and Kurt’s romance as much as I would have liked. It felt kinda stupid and rushed and a little pointless. I didn’t really see how they complimented one another and I couldn’t feel a spark.
At the beginning I truly was enjoying it and as the novel went on it was alright. Definitely would not be one of my favourites though.

One thing has been nagging at me since I read it and that thing was how the water off of Massachusetts is cold because the currents funnel in water from the Arctic. That is false. The western side of Europe receives water from the Arctic while the eastern side of the US gets water from the Gulf Stream flowing in from the South since the currents in the northern hemisphere move in a clockwise motion. So no, the water off of New England isn't cold because the currents flow from the north. It's because of its latitude and distance away from the equator.
