I liked this book but my main issue with it is it ends kind of abruptly. It was like I was reading along and just really starting to get into the story and the next sentence is The End. So I just sort of felt like there should be more to the story.

When the story ends she's just starting to be look like she's going to be with the person that it was pretty obvious she should be with at the beginning of the book. Prior to that she's going on dates with lots of people that aren't that guy and while those dates are definitely high on the humor scale because she has the worst dating luck ever, and he's listening to her dating horror stories while refusing to consider dating her.

While Rallison sets up a lot of scenarios that should be high on the emotional scale even in the first person point of view I felt almost distanced from what happened and therefore it didn't really have the emotional impact that she was probably going for. The humorous scenes were awesome and I was laughing through a lot of the story but in my personal opinion it felt like this was only the beginning of a better story than the whole thing.

It's a cute teen tale which I liked but I feel it could have been better.

I really liked this book!!! The ending... Not so much! So dang irritating. The ending was just blah. It's done.

Why why why didn't he ever express his feelings. I liked her describing how she liked "some guy". I just wish he would have done the same thing! He made such a big deal about her being too young I wish he would have talked about that. But over all it was a good book. She had amazing self confidence. I like that.

This was more fun than what I expected. I've been wanting all the light and funny reads. And oh did this one deliver!

4.5 stars! I love Janette Rallison's books and when I heard she was re-releasing one of her earlier books as an e-book, I had to grab it! (And it was another perfect, light read for our recent road trip!) Janette's books have lots of humor, great characters who learn important lessons and just the right amount of romance -- books I won't hesitate to recommend to my daughters. I only wish there had been more to the ending of this one!

This was one of Rallison's earlier books. It's about an LDS girl in high school whose best friend moves away and she has to befriend the rebel LDS girl. The main girl, Holly, has a very strong testimony and it would probably be good for LDS teenagers to read this because of her good example.

The romance wasn't that great in this book. I like some of Rallison's later books better, but this was still enjoyable.
