This was one of those books that kept me turning pages. I was completely hooked.
It's very intense and full of plot twists, mystery, and very emotional (it actually made me cry a bit). The way the author mixed historical facts with fiction is perfect, having every hole filled one by one.
It has everything I could ask for a book: Action, good character development, good pace, intensity, and a pinch of romance.

This was the first Assassin's Creed book I have read. I like the take on the French revolution that this book provides. It is more about a woman's quest for revenge, and the changes revenge will cause in a person.
There were some slow parts but it has made me interested in the game series.
