The sequel was even better than the first!

I absolutely love this world, the politics, the magic, the characters, and the plotline. Ana, Ramson, Linn, and Kaïs have won my heart and have quickly become favorite characters of mine.

This series is bloody, violent, action-packed, filled with twists, and has slow-burn romances; quite rare for a young adult series. I look forward to the grand finale in book three.

What an explosive sequel! I read it all within about five hours because I couldn't put it down. This sequel just picks up and it doesn't let up until the end, much like the first book was. But this book starts a little after the ending of the first book and multiple characters get more light on the page, such as Ramson and knowing a bit more of his past and family. Plus, there's a new POV for this book! I kind of missed it just being Ana and Ramson, but I did like the addition. Overall, fantastic read and I'm pumped for the final book in the trilogy.
