This is one of Jodi Picoult books or short stories that I never thought I would get to read for some reason and I honestly wish I didn't. It is quite short and took very little time to finish it, but it was not enjoyable. Even with it being mix media, it's still a no no from me.
Cute short story
This was a cute short story but it ended a little weird for me. Maybe if it was longer I might have liked it better.

This story is too short for its own good. Jodi doesn't go into any detail with anything in the story and I found that this extreme lack of detail makes the story feel shallow and empty. I'd bought the book expecting to enjoy the whole Kindle In Motion thing, only to realise that my Kindle doesn't support it. It was disappointing on all fronts. I couldn't find a reason not to give it one star.
Amazing, as always.
Stunning, as always. Writing was beautiful, imagination set free, and story always leaves me wanting more! Definitely a great read.

I read the Kindle in motion version from Kindle Unlimited as well as followed along with the audiobook. The reader of the audiobook did a wonderful job! The animation in the kindle in motion was kind of neat. I had to use the kindle app on my phone, as my kindle paperwhite didn't allow the media to come to life. I don't know if my kindle is to old or it just doesn't work on the paperwhite models.
A short, haunting little tale about love, loss, and moving on with life, even when it's hard.

This was a very short story. It left to many loose ends. The story was fun to read with the video inserts. They added to it. The story itself was well written and I hope it will become a novel.
The added "In-Motion" features are cool if you are using one of the Fires, yet do not make up for a story that is confusing and basically plotless because of it. A lot of the problem is the jerkiness caused by reflections and then the current time. There is no warning, it's one paragraph from then and then the next from before without any obvious transition. It's jarring and confusing, especially in a short story.
Has anyone seen these before? It's an animated short story from Kindle. Several pages had very cool graphics. The story was just alright, but what can you ask for when it's such a short story. It was free with Kindle Unlimited. I recommend checking it out just for the animation, story... not so much. Very interesting concept.. 3.5 ⭐️
