Rounding up to a five. First of all, I lack the courage and the motivation to take on this kind of journey. It’s far too physically and mentally demanding of me. So it was wonderful to be able to live vicariously through the author. His introspection was as brave as his trek, and it was really lovely to know he had so many friends to care for him and love him along the way. I feared for him many times, and I cried for him too. I read this book because another one by him that was recommended to me by a friend was months away in my library queue. So grateful for her recommendation leading me here.
