It felt disjointed but I can’t tell if that’s because I took a huge pause in the middle of reading it

I learnt so much about Libya, so much about yet another struggle and horrific oppressive regime, and found the writing of it beautiful and moving.

Wonderful and heartbreaking book. Truely takes you into the love and desperation of Matar's life following his father's disappearance.
