It was quite like a fanfiction. I kept expecting Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way to show up

Meh. Interesting premise and ideas but it reads like a first draft. There’s some plot holes and the characters aren’t fleshed out very well. Very one dimensional. The kissing seemed ok but the whole I love you thing just wasn’t there. Pure lust and infatuation but no love. Whatsoever. So he watched her eat breakfast everyday for a week and then left for the day and now they’re in love? I missed something. Also the days and nights and when they sleep and wake are all over place and make zero sense.
Could use an editor too. Like a real editor not just running it through grammarly.

Chaoter 21 till the end is badly written and rushed. The plot is very faint and doesn’t make sense but I still enjoyed the book

I am new to this author and really enjoyed her writing style. This book was very different from other stories I have read. It took me a little bit to get into the book due to being it was not my normal go to book. However, once I read more and the characters started to develop, I really liked the book.
Thea and Drakes story is very different. I didn't like the overall picture of Drakes lifestyle and how he chose to stay even though he didn't care for the lifestyle either. I wish Drake would have stood up more than he did in the beginning. Of course that really changed due to the feelings he has for Thea.
I really wish there was more of an explanation for Thea and Drakes pull to one another. It seemed like there was a start to that, but then it was never explained. Hope to read about this in the future books!

Wow !! What an exhilarating ride! I read this novel in one sitting. I devoured this novel after reading the first few pages. I needed to know what Thea was up to; what her motives were. And why she was willingly going into a castle filled with vampires.
I loved the air of mystery within this novel from the very beginning to the end. The characters were complex, and so many motives for each character and their actions. I really enjoyed Thea and Drake. I felt like their entire story was really believable; even with him being a Prince Vampire. The side characters of Thomas were loveable and cute, while others like Alex really made you want to punch him in the face!
I honestly can't wait for more of this world and these characters! This series already has me hooked and this is only book one!
