one thing about stephanie archer is she knows how to DELIVER

i actually felt like they hated each other at the beginning and it made them falling in love so much sweeter. the way Alexei was protective and helpful to Georgia was amazing.

dont get me started on the flowers. like how dare this man not be real.

4.5 stars. ARC read.

An enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, forced proximity hockey romance! Do I need to say anything else?

I haven’t read book 3 because best friends to lovers is my jam and I read The Fake Out before the first book about Pippa and Jamie and ugh it was not good. I got scared about how she would write my favorite trop. My friend read this one though and encouraged me to read it.

It wasnt as good as the fake out but it was a really nice read!

I think Gloves Off might be my favorite from the Vancouver Storm series.

While this book is a bit of a slow burn, there’s still so much chemistry between the two. They were constantly finding ways to wind each other up and to make life difficult for one another but like, in the cutest way? I love a strong female and Dr. Georgia Greene is amazing. There are so many moments of misunderstanding(but not in a frustrating way for the reader) that the characters figure out for themselves. Luckily for us, they're not too prideful to admit when they’re wrong.

I found myself highlighting bits throughout the books being like, “stop! This is so freaking cute.”

Here’s the rundown-As a 36 year old hockey enforcer the threat of Volkov's career ending is a real thing and the quickest way to secure citizenship for himself and his parents is through marriage. Dr. Georgia Green does it all. She works for the team, runs the hospital’s athletic rehabilitation program, and coaches a girls soccer team. The thing is, the program is running short on funding. She can have access to her inheritance if she gets married. You can see where this goes.
