Such a hard story to read, but in a good way. I loved that this book felt like Lydia was a real person. Her parents are living her life for her and she is suffocating. Too much attention is destroying their entire family. On the other hand, her siblings are being completely neglected. How could these smart parents get it so wrong.jujubean1989's review against another edition

This book was written in a way that allowed me to feel each character's emotions. I cried. I felt a connection that I haven't felt while reading a book.

Reeaaallllyyyyy sad and kind of felt like there was no hope, so I had to stop reading because it was a heavier read than I wanted.
