If this book's purpose was to tease me about what might come in future books--SUCCESS!!! I want, no, need to know if these characters are going to play a major part in the future. The only character I could remember from a previous book was Ivar. With so many characters floating in my head it gets hard to keep track. Maybe I need to keep a book bible to jog my old lady memory for this amazing series and its spin-offs.
We meet Noah when Ivar is literally dropped into his care. He had no choice but to deal with one of the Seven. Noah and Ivar end up having to take Anger Management classes where they meet Tami, a demoness, and Abby, who was ordered there after throwing something at her ex-husband.
Let me tell you there is a lot more to Abby's story than the quick intro. I was steaming mad at those in the small town. What a bunch of horrible crooks!!!! Thank goodness for Noah, his protective ideas and a few more surprises that I will leave for you to discover.
This quick story left me wanting more, More, MORE!!! I hope it comes soon.

A vampire-demon meets an abused woman at an anger management class (the class is hilarious), and chaos ensue between their worlds. A solid, action-packed novella with familiar faces. He's the big, bad, revenge driven alpha who's drawn to the sweet, resilient human, and finds his protective side going into overdrive.
Though it was a bit of lust at first sight, there's a good process of them figuring each other out, with some great chemistry and a nice dose of steam. I really enjoyed them together! Loved his tender side and how he protects and defends her. It's a fun read but I thought ended a bit abruptly. CW: >!domestic abuse!<the

En vacances sur l'île d'Oléron, j'ai lu le dernier livre de Rebecca Zanetti (Vixen) avant de me lancer dans une relecture de tous les livres de Rebecca Zanetti que j'avais adoré ... Et j'ai réalisé qu'il y avait plein de livres dans l'univers des Dark Protectors que je n'avais pas lu !! Et notamment des personnages secondaires de Vixen !!
Bien que cette nouvelle soit courte (oui moins de 200 pages c'est court xD), j'ai adoré l'histoire de Noah et Abby : l'histoire avec le groupe de gestion de la colère avec tous ces immortels qui ont tous leur propre agenda m'a beaucoup fait rire et j'ai adoré l'histoire avec l'ex d'Abby et sa relation avec Noah (j'ai adoré quand elle a découvert tout l'univers avec les vampires etc)
Bref, une romance légère et amusante à dévorer sans modération (comme le reste de la série =D)

On vacation on the island of Oléron, I read the last book by Rebecca Zanetti (Vixen) before embarking on a rereading of all the books by Rebecca Zanetti that I had loved ... And I realized that there were plenty of books in the Dark Protector universe that I hadn't read !! And in particular secondary characters from Vixen !!
Although this short-story is short (yes less than 200 pages is short xD) I loved the story of Noah and Abby : the plot with the anger management group with all these immortals who all have their own agenda made me laugh a lot and I loved the story with Abby's ex and her relationship with Noah (I loved when she discovered the whole universe with vampires etc)
In short, a light and fun romance to devour without moderation (like the rest of the series =D)

Love this book! This is the first book I have read by this author and in this series. It was fast paced and filled with paranormal fun! It made me laugh and swoon all at the same time! I will have to go back and read this whole series!

Noah Siosal is taking Ivar to an anger management class to try and help him cope with him jumping dimensions. There he meets Abby who is being screwed over by her ex-husband. After rescuing her from her ex a few times he realizes she is his mate.
This was a nice little side story to the DP series. I liked Noah and Abby. Noah was overbearing and protective but also really caring. He was trying to help Ivar and steps in as soon as he sees Abby needs help. Abby is just trying to get away from her abusive ex but he has friends in high places so she gets in trouble instead. She is basically at the end of her rope. I liked Abby because she was determined and strong. She knew things probably wouldn't go in her favour but she does everything she can to be free.
Their mating was unexpected but it worked. They were a cute couple. Maybe they will show up again in future books. I also really want Raine and Tabitha's stories now.
