Bruh, this was an experience in a not good way for me. Like the way this man loved her and then cheated on her. Like it doesn't make sense to me at all, and I don't like it at all.
I also didn't like how everyone made her feel like it was her fault that he cheated because she took her time to process her miscarriage. Messy in a not good way. I did not like this at all.

i was in the mood for an angsty read, so i figured a romance about cheating and a marriage in trouble would be just the thing for me. however, this book didn’t complete satisfy me the way that i wanted. i’m not exactly sure what it was missing — it just grew kinda boring after awhile. the spicy scenes were good, but i think the author relied too much on the couple’s sexual chemistry rather than their emotional one. i wouldn’t be opposed to reading more by q.b. tyler though!

The plot was interesting but further down the road it became a bit dull and the smut began to overtake the actual plot, went downhill.
I’ve put off reading this one for years because the cheating trope might be my least favorite trope, and especially when it’s one of our MCs cheating on the other one. I hate it. But alas, I decided to give it a try.
Now, before I rant a bit I should preface that I don’t hate this book. I also don’t love it. It’s very middle of the road for me.
Surprisingly my least favorite thing wasn’t the fact that he cheated (although he’s obviously trash for that), but the way everyone around them seems to react. From his mother, to their friends, to the freaking doorman…everyone wants them to get back together. And on the one hand, I do get it. But on the other, it almost felt like people didn’t empathize with her enough. She was devastated after two failed pregnancies and was severely depressed, and then to top it off her husband cheats on her? And yes, I understand she had emotionally checked out and wasn’t allowing him to feel the pregnancy losses, but I just…I don’t know. I’ve never been in that situation so I can’t speak too much to how I’d react but I just don’t think it’s acceptable to go out and cheat on your spouse because they’ve been emotionally distant after something traumatic like that happens.
Also, I didn’t love the epilogue. Maybe if it has been 5 years later? But 2? No. Basically all that says to me is that a baby fixed their problems. That’s not how that works.

Long ride to HEA
I usually don't like reading a story when they're cheating but I have to say I am glad a make an exception to this one.
It's was a really hard situation to deal with for both of them Olivia, because of the betrayal of Clake and Clake for not knowing why he did what he did. I love the memory lost part of it it makes it more interesting.
Imagine waking up after an accident and thinking your life is perfect to discover it's not anymore...
You should read this I was good.
