I loved this book, it was such a clever concept and the resolution of the story was strong. The only thing I didn’t enjoy is the reliance on characters accidentally running into someone or meeting the perfect person at the right time for an action to occur. Also we were not texting at this frequency in 2004!!!!

This is one of those books where the premise sounded good, but it just wasn’t executed in a way that sat well with me. Working in the mental health field, I am just very sensitive to how certain topics are portrayed in books; therefore, I struggled with the therapist/mental health components of this novel.
