the memory loss and generational trauma made this a hard read, but, boy, was it worth it! I wish it was easier to see the magic in the love we already have instead of pining for fiction.
I really liked it. I listened to it with my whole family and its definitely a book I want to read to future kids. Kinda reminded my of E.D. Baker’s novels (which I also love)

Oh. My gracious God, I found the love of my life early on this year. And the reason why I didn't finish it earlier, because I want to feel it again and again, Lol. The words, the plot, the world. They are just

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful descriptions, delightful characters and such emotional heart. I can’t wait to revisit this book.
