How can a character who doesn’t know about witchcraft until literally halfway through the book, use « Judas » as a swear from the first page? A simple minded, scaremongering book, written by a fraud and stolen from a gifted child’s real life. Shame on Beatrice Sparks.

This just wasn’t good. It’s sad because I actually really enjoyed Go Ask Alice, but this just didn’t come close to that. The whole occult storyline was just ridiculous.
I have wanted to read these "anonymous' journals for a while. I think the concept is very interesting, the book itself was good. I honestly thought I would enjoy the book more than I did. Maybe it was the subject matter (witchcraft) which I cannot relate or even come to believe... when I purchased this book I bought 2 others, will see if I enjoy those more.
