The "Merc with a Mouth" is back with new adventures. All dead American presidents have been raised from the dead and S.H.I.E.L.D. hires him to "terminate" them.
Sounds like it has the potential to be "epic", but unfortunately, it is not. The story had its moments of humor, action and gore, but I still consider the book to be a bit of a lackluster. I found the dead presidents to be bland and insipid, and their motive uninspired. However, the artwork is nothing short of amazing; Tony Moore really is one of the best comic book artists out there.

This is easily one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read, and one of my favourite Deadpool stories ever. Right from the get-go, it was nothing but fun, raunchy jokes, a dose of drama, and fountains of gore. A must read for any and all Deadpool fans!

Do you ever read something and think, “This person not only has a Facebook account, but they‘ve somehow allowed it to define their entire sense of humor?” I have a few times. Usually from members of the over-40 crowd who spend their time isolated from funny people. Anyway the art was serviceable but the writing gave me second hand embarrassment. The wannabe suicide squad premise complete with knockoff Amanda Waller, plus dead presidents as antagonists didn’t do the book any favors. But it’s the dialogue that really tanks this.

This was an assigned reading for this month's comic book meet-up group. It's very rare that I decide halfway through a short comic trade that it's too horrible to keep going. I did just that for this book. After the first 4 issues, I realized it wasn't going to get any better.
I think I like the concept of Deadpool more than I like actually reading Deadpool comics, but we'll see.
I think I liked Deadpool in Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force. He was in that team, right?

This was... interesting to say the least. Deadpool fights all of the US Presidents after they're brought back from the dead, in a plot line so ridiculous it can only be a Deadpool comic. It was a lot of fun, as everything with Deadpool is.
