6/5 stars rounded down because 5 is the max. This was one of, if not the best Fantasy book I have read! There are numerous plotlines that are weeved together to paint this tapestry.

There are dozens of characters who are so we'll developed and characterized that I had no issue wondering who they were. They were so unique in action, thoughts, and decision making that it felt like a different writer wrote each character.

The world building and lore that is added in this book cannot be understated! It didn't feel cheap or out of nowhere and organically built on the foundation that way played out in the previous novels and novellas.

Just a wonderful book that is so satisfying and leaves you needing the next book as soon as possible!

The book definitely has strengths however I have to rate it 3 stars due to the other notable drawbacks. Some of which included lack of editing, redundancy, too much filler pieces, and lastly the repetitive character naming which slows the plotline and at times makes the story confusing. Names such as Dahlen, Dann, Damon, Dayne. I have bought and already read up to books 3, and I’m invested enough to see the stories ending. I wish I was able to rent it from my library prior to purchasing but I do hope the last two books will be more polished because I do want to see how the story unfolds.
