You know what, I adore this couple. Especially Liz. I am not at all like her, but I just love her on the page.

Thoroughly enjoyed the depictions of the male aliens passing back tips back and forth about how to please the human women "in the furs." Also, god bless these sa-khui men and how much they love cunnilingus. 😅🥵

My FAVORITE part of this novella, though, was when Liz and Raahosh are getting hot and heavy, then he tries something and it goes terribly wrong. He retreats and is feeling ashamed and not good enough for her (which has been building up from the first half of the story), and she goes right after him and won't let him shut her out. Once she figures out what's wrong, she holds him and reassures him that she loves him exactly as he is, and that he definitely pleases her. Honestly it was one of the sweeter, more heartbreaking & emotional scenes I've read in a romance, and I was astonished that it came from IPB. Hats off to Ruby Dixon.
