One of the most hilarious pictures books I've ever read. The video of the grandmother reading it to her grandson is what sparked this purchase.

For: readers looking for a goofy book that builds off of itself.

Possible red flags: gross-out humor.

Yup, count me among the millions that ran to read this book after watching the YouTube video of the Scottish woman reading aloud to her grandson. The story is fun in its cumulative telling. How many times can you say spunky, hanky-panky, cranky, stinky-dinky, lanky, honky-tonky, winky-wonky donkeys without cracking a smile? Yeah…I couldn’t get through one either.
