So lyrical and beautiful written. I feel Pietro’s music throughout and, through his music, I come to know Assunta. Hilary Hauck’s From Ashes to Song is a story of love, loss and perseverance. It will make you cry. It will make you laugh. It will make you laugh through your tears. It was a pleasure to read. I look forward to her next book.
