Short & written in a simple english, it tells us the story of Joseph Merrick, a man who suffered from Proteus syndrome.
It is not the best book about Joseph Merrick's life, because it is too short. However, it is still good especially if you want to know the story behind Mr Merrick's life in a very fast way.

Reading the simplified version for school's Literature syllabus. And when I say simplified, I mean with really simple language. My 15-years-old kids shouldn't have much problem with it, but reading this leave me wanting more. More details, more character development, MORE EVERYTHING.

But now that I also know the ending, I'm conflicted if I should read the original version. This kind of ending doesn't go well with me.
