I didn’t get the hype with this book. It took me a long time to get through it but once I was about half way, my interest grew. This is not my typical genre of book which explains why it wasn’t my favourite but I did enjoy it once I got into it. The twist at the end I didn’t predict so that was a nice take!

This was a fantastic book! The story and the characters were both beautifully written and, I thought it was amazing that all the characters in this book were flawed and had there secrets. None of them were perfect. It was interesting to see that side of Hollywood. I liked Evelyn Hugo, but at the same time thought she was a bitch. Which made me like her even more and I think that was the intention. Her friendship with Harry Cameron was one of my favorite things about the book. Harry Cameron was my absolute favorite character in the book.
