This was a decent look into Bowie’s life and his work, the author definitely came at it in a very creative way. Even going as far as dressing up like Bowie and retracing his life for a year to fully immerse himself in the process.
I learned a decent amount about some of the messages behind songs and some Bowie’s start, however the author could be a bit dry at times. Beyond that, the author seemed to write with this mentality that he was the biggest fan and knew the most, but then simultaneously wouldn’t put his thoughts in a concrete way. I didn’t love it, didn’t dislike it
Just a middle line read of a not middle line man.
